Holobloom

2018, digital, 42 x 55 in.

Holobloom is based upon a visionary experience I had where I encountered two female entities resembling fairies, gazing toward a luminous being below them. The being resembled a jellyfish, yet appeared to be composed entirely of pure light. From its center, radiant strands of light vibrated and emanated outward with a luminosity that I can’t fully describe in words.

Surrounding the being were geometric plant forms illuminated by bioluminescent light, creating an environment that felt both organic and otherworldly. Despite the unfamiliar nature of what I was seeing, there was something strangely familiar about the encounter.

The entire experience carried an enchanting quality, and Holobloom became my attempt to translate that experience into visual form.
