Nimaya is based upon a visionary experience I had where I encountered a radiant golden mandala. The mandala was incredibly intricate, depicting Hindu sadhus meditating with Sri Yantras emanating from the centers of their bodies.

Behind the figures were high-tech Hindu temples illuminated by an electric golden glow. The figures and surrounding environment were encompassed by enormous lotus petals formed from beams of light, creating a space that felt simultaneously ancient, spiritual, and technologically advanced.

The mandala itself appeared alive and animated, as though its movement were being controlled by an external force. Despite the intensity of everything I was witnessing, the experience brought an overwhelming sense of peace over me.

I named the piece Nimaya, meaning inner wisdom, as the experience felt like an expression of something profound existing beyond the surface of what I was seeing.
