Hypergeometry

2013, digital, 36 x 36 in.

Hypergeometry is based upon a visionary experience where I encountered intricate geometric structures arranged across a vast grid composed of every color in the rainbow. The colors appeared to animate and move through the structures, which I translated into the artwork through layers of intense color and repeating geometry

The experience seemed to communicate something about interconnectedness and its importance—how an intricately connected system can become the foundation for something much larger than its individual parts.

Throughout the piece, I incorporated the Platonic solids as representations of fundamental geometric forms. Their presence felt appropriate within a vision centered around geometry, structure, connection, and the underlying patterns from which larger systems can emerge.
