Welcome to my site. Everything you see on the site was created by me without the use of AI. I have been designing in the all-black style since 2011. Since then, I have created over 600 illustrations in this body of work, which I have called The Void. For me, the Void holds deep spiritual significance; it is the necessary essence that is needed for there to be a perfect balance for light/darkness to coexist. I see it as the source of creation, where anything and all things are possible to emanate from. Each art piece I create explores this philosophy. Dive In.

Digital artist exploring consciousness, symbolism, and hyperdimensional form
Samuel Farrand is an international digital artist and clothing designer known for luminous, high-resolution compositions built on black fields, paired with intricate psychedelic pattern systems applied to apparel. His practice centers on symbolic structure, visual immersion, and the deliberate use of contrast to create depth and clarity.
His work has been presented as large-scale stage projections at major music festivals and events around the world, where scale becomes part of the visual experience itself. He has exhibited alongside other artists working within the psychedelic and visionary art space, contributing to an ongoing conversation about consciousness, perception, and symbolic language through digital media.
Since beginning his seminal body of work, The Void, in 2011, Farrand has created over 500 high-resolution digital compositions. Each piece functions as its own visual environment rather than an isolated image, built around balance, negative space, and layered meaning.
His work has found an audience within the Burning Man community and across global psychedelic festival culture, as well as among collectors and art enthusiasts beyond that scene. Farrand continues to focus on sustained output and a consistent visual philosophy rather than short-term trends.
Explore the Work
My work explores consciousness as a layered, living architecture. Each piece begins in black, the void understood not as emptiness, but as a generative field of infinite potential. It is the primordial ground from which form, perception, and meaning arise.
Across spiritual and cosmological traditions, this state has been described as clear light or original awareness. Here, the void functions as both origin and orientation, the source from which becoming unfolds. Creating from this field aligns inner and outer perception, allowing subtle harmonics, sacred geometry, and symbolic structures to surface without force.
The process is not illustrative. It is transmissive. Symbolic architectures emerge through alignment rather than invention, revealing patterns that already exist within consciousness itself. The work operates as a visual language, designed to be apprehended intuitively as much as intellectually.
Creation becomes an act of coherence. Each composition serves as an entry point into clarity, recognition, and expanded awareness, offering not a narrative to follow, but a structure to engage.
I’m a visionary digital artist whose work explores consciousness, perception, and symbolic structure through high-resolution compositions constructed on black fields. My practice isn’t concerned with representation alone, but with the conditions under which meaning emerges. Each piece is built as a visual architecture, designed to be entered, contemplated, and engaged over time.
Drawing from sacred geometry, esoteric systems, and patterns observed in nature, my work operates at the intersection of abstraction and structure. Color, form, and negative space are functional elements rather than embellishment. The compositions are intentionally restrained, allowing resonance and coherence to arise through balance rather than excess.
My artistic development has been shaped by formal training in fine arts and decades of disciplined practice. My work reflects a sustained commitment to technical precision, symbolic clarity, and the refinement of visual language. Rather than chasing stylistic trends, my process centers on depth, resolution, and continuity across bodies of work.
My art has been exhibited at galleries, large-scale installations, and major music festivals, where immersive projection environments extend the work beyond the frame. While it’s found a home within psychedelic and visionary art circles, the work itself isn’t genre-dependent. It speaks through structure, rhythm, and shared perceptual experience rather than cultural shorthand.
My work invites introspection, not instruction. It doesn’t offer answers, but frameworks. Through visual systems that echo inner and natural architectures, I hope to encourage viewers to engage their own perceptual and emotional landscapes, art as a tool for orientation, reflection, and transformation.
