This piece emerged while creating in the aftermath of a visionary experience. Rather than beginning with a specific concept, it developed through exploration, eventually becoming an explosion of fractal forms radiating outward from the center.

Within the mandala, Mandelbrot fractals appear as a recurring visual language of infinity. Their repetition gives the composition a sense of endless expansion, while the outward movement creates the impression of consciousness radiating beyond a fixed center. The color palette was chosen intuitively for the feeling it produced, allowing the work to remain immediate rather than overly conceptual.

The piece is built around instant visual impact. Its scale, repetition, and expanding geometry are meant to create a moment of awe before the viewer begins noticing the deeper fractal structures embedded within the composition.

The title refers to that sudden, overwhelming sensation of drinking something cold too quickly and feeling a sharp rush through the head—reinterpreted here through a psychedelic lens as an intense burst of perception.
