This section examines each individual heptad as presented in Occultum Lapidem: The Planetary Heptad, and functions as a companion framework to the Aeon of Da’Ath Tarot. Each heptagram is structured around seven points, with planetary correspondences positioned along its perimeter. These correspondences are not treated as symbolic ornaments, but as the essential spiritual qualities embodied by the seven classical planets.
Within every heptad, the ruling planet appears in its own direct expression. This is the planet reflected through itself, its pure spiritual quality, unmediated and foundational. From this central principle, the remaining six correspondences articulate how that planetary force refracts through the other classical influences.
Each planetary expression follows a consistent metaphysical structure. Saturn corresponds to one of the seven classical metals. Jupiter aligns with one of the seven archangels. Mars is expressed through one of the seven Goetic spirits, each governed by the counterbalancing authority of the angel that rules over it. Sol corresponds to one of the seven Olympic spirits. Venus is expressed through one of the seven planetary spirits. Mercury aligns with one of the seven Hebrew double letters. Luna corresponds to one of the seven planetary intelligences. Additionally each color corresponds to one of the Sephirots on the Tree of Life in relation to the Golden Dawn’s queen scale color assignment.
Together, these correspondences form a closed system, mapping how a single planetary force manifests across multiple layers of reality, material, spiritual, cognitive, and operative. Each heptad functions as a complete circuit, revealing the internal logic of the planet rather than a collection of isolated symbols.
What follows is the Heptad of Venus, outlining how Venus’ essential nature is expressed through each of these seven correspondences.
Copper corresponds to Venus as beauty given durable form. Unlike iron or lead, copper is conductive, receptive, and responsive, reflecting Venus’s role in attraction and exchange. Through Saturn, Venusian energy is stabilized into lasting value, committed bonds, and enduring aesthetic form. This aspect governs beauty that survives time rather than fleeting pleasure.
Anael represents Venus operating under benevolent order. When Venus acts through Jupiter, love expands into generosity, harmony becomes social cohesion, and attraction supports growth rather than indulgence. This correspondence governs grace, mercy, and relational abundance, expressing Venus as a unifying force within ethical and spiritual structure.
Bael corresponds to Venusian desire intensified by Martian drive. Attraction becomes pursuit, beauty becomes conquest, and pleasure carries an edge of dominance. This aspect governs erotic power, magnetic influence, and the capacity to compel through charm. Venus here reveals its ability to command as well as entice.
Haggith expresses Venus as sovereign vitality and visible beauty. Through the solar principle, Venus becomes radiant, self-assured, and authoritative in expression. This correspondence governs confidence, creative charisma, and the power of attraction rooted in presence rather than pursuit. Venus here rules through visibility and grace.
This is Venus in its pure and unmediated state. Kademel embodies attraction, pleasure, harmony, and generative vitality without restraint or distortion. This aspect governs love as a sustaining force, beauty as nourishment, and desire as creative motion. It is Venus as principle rather than interaction.
Daleth corresponds to Venus operating through communication and exchange. Attraction moves through language, symbols, and pathways of connection. This aspect governs persuasion, negotiation, and the opening of relational channels. Venus through Mercury facilitates union by creating access, dialogue, and movement between selves.
Hagiel expresses Venus shaping emotion and imagination into lived experience. Feeling becomes attachment, aesthetic sensibility becomes habit, and desire takes form in daily life. This correspondence governs emotional bonding, sensual memory, and the embodiment of beauty within the rhythms of experience. Venus here makes love tangible.
