This section examines each individual heptad as presented in Occultum Lapidem: The Planetary Heptad, and functions as a companion framework to the Aeon of Da’Ath Tarot. Each heptagram is structured around seven points, with planetary correspondences positioned along its perimeter. These correspondences are not treated as symbolic ornaments, but as the essential spiritual qualities embodied by the seven classical planets.
Within every heptad, the ruling planet appears in its own direct expression. This is the planet reflected through itself, its pure spiritual quality, unmediated and foundational. From this central principle, the remaining six correspondences articulate how that planetary force refracts through the other classical influences.
Each planetary expression follows a consistent metaphysical structure. Saturn corresponds to one of the seven classical metals. Jupiter aligns with one of the seven archangels. Mars is expressed through one of the seven Goetic spirits, each governed by the counterbalancing authority of the angel that rules over it. Sol corresponds to one of the seven Olympic spirits. Venus is expressed through one of the seven planetary spirits. Mercury aligns with one of the seven Hebrew double letters. Luna corresponds to one of the seven planetary intelligences. Additionally each color corresponds to one of the Sephirots on the Tree of Life in relation to the Golden Dawn’s queen scale color assignment.
Together, these correspondences form a closed system, mapping how a single planetary force manifests across multiple layers of reality, material, spiritual, cognitive, and operative. Each heptad functions as a complete circuit, revealing the internal logic of the planet rather than a collection of isolated symbols.
What follows is the Heptad of Luna, outlining how Luna’s essential nature is expressed through each of these seven correspondences.
Silver corresponds to Luna as reflective matter. It receives light rather than generating it, mirroring the Moon’s role as intermediary and vessel. Through Saturn, lunar energy is fixed into physical form, memory stabilized into substance. This aspect governs embodiment shaped by time, emotional residue crystallized into matter, and the persistence of reflection within structure.
Gabriel represents Luna under divine order and revelation. When lunar energy moves through Jupiter, intuition becomes guidance and receptivity becomes message. This correspondence governs annunciation, spiritual transmission, and the expansion of inner knowing into shared meaning. Luna here acts as a channel for truth rather than a passive mirror.
Lilith corresponds to lunar force expressed without restraint. Emotion becomes instinct, desire becomes reflex, and reaction precedes reflection. This aspect governs volatility, primal response, and the untamed subconscious. Luna through Mars reveals the raw power of feeling when unmediated by reason or order.
Phul expresses lunar awareness organized by solar authority. Inner experience gains coherence, emotion aligns with identity, and reflection serves consciousness. This correspondence governs clarity within feeling, memory shaped by awareness, and intuition brought into alignment with purpose. Luna here reflects the Sun rather than distorting it.
Hasmodai represents lunar vitality expressed through attraction and emotional bonding. Desire is felt deeply, attachment becomes immersive, and pleasure is infused with memory. This aspect governs intimacy, emotional magnetism, and the pull of familiarity. Luna here animates Venusian energy through feeling and resonance.
Gimel corresponds to Luna operating through movement between states. Thought bridges emotion, symbol carries feeling, and perception translates experience into meaning. This aspect governs dreams, imagination, and the transmission of inner states through language or image. Luna through Mercury mediates between inner and outer worlds.
This is Luna in its pure state. Shelachel embodies reflection, receptivity, and cyclical becoming. Experience forms through repetition, memory shapes identity, and reality is continuously reassembled through perception. Luna here governs manifestation through rhythm, pattern, and emotional continuity rather than fixed will.
