In this diagram, the traditional vertical ascent and descent of the Lurianic Tree of Life is reconfigured into a mandala-like cosmology, with Ain Soph Aur positioned at the absolute center. This shift collapses linear hierarchy and replaces it with radial simultaneity. Emanation is no longer understood as a sequence of steps moving upward or downward, but as a unified field expressing itself in multiple directions at once.
At the core of the structure are the three pre-emanative states of Kabbalistic cosmology. Ain, represented as a triangle, signifies Absolute Nothing. Ain Soph, represented as a heptagon, signifies the Limitless Without End. Ain Soph Aur, represented as a decagon, signifies Limitless Light. These are not stages to be passed through, but foundational conditions from which all manifestation arises simultaneously.
The geometry of these forms echoes their linguistic counterparts as described in the Sefer Yetzirah. The triangle reflects the three Hebrew Mother Letters. The heptagon reflects the seven Hebrew Double Letters. The decagon reflects the twelve Hebrew Simple Letters. From Ain Soph Aur emerge the ten Sephirots, understood here not as a ladder of ascent, but as governing principles radiating outward from a single luminous source.
Beginning with Kether, the White Sephirah, the Sephirots unfold in a clockwise movement around the mandala, concluding with Malkuth, the most condensed expression of material reality. Each Sephirah is further subdivided into ten internal correspondences, creating a fractal reflection of the Tree of Life within each sphere. Any Sephirah may therefore be approached not only as an isolated force, but as a complete symbolic system in itself.
These internal correspondences are structured as follows:
Elemental Substance, comprising the three alchemical primes and four classical elements, aligns with
• Kether
• Zodiac aligns with Chokmah
• Hebrew Double Letter aligns with Binah
• Planetary Archangel aligns with Chesed
• Planetary Archdemon aligns with Geburah
• Olympian Spirit aligns with Tiphareth
• Planetary Spirit aligns with Netzach
• Metal aligns with Hod
• Mercurial Principle aligns with Yesod
• Pagan Sabbat aligns with Malkuth
The logic of this subdivision may be understood through the analogy of a prism. When light passes through a prism, it refracts into multiple expressions while remaining a single source. Likewise, each Sephirah refracts into ten distinct but interrelated correspondences. This allows focused magical and contemplative work to occur at any point in the Tree without collapsing the system into abstraction or hierarchy.
This method of dividing each Sephirah into ten correspondences represents an original contribution. Each attribution was resolved through symbolic reduction and comparative triangulation, ensuring alignment with classical Hermeticism, alchemical doctrine, and Golden Dawn operational logic. Where traditional systems left unresolved gaps, these were addressed through structural coherence rather than speculation.
The color palette follows the Golden Dawn Queen Scale with minor refinements made for clarity and legibility. Malkuth is rendered in a unified brown to emphasize grounding and material cohesion. Binah is shifted from pure black to deep gray to maintain contrast against the background. Aside from these adjustments, the color system remains faithful to established Golden Dawn attribution.
Above each Sephirah appear Hebrew letters corresponding to the Four Worlds of Kabbalah. Atziluth, associated with Fire, governs the first three Sephirots. Briah, associated with Water, governs Sephirots four through six. Yetzirah, associated with Air, governs Sephirots seven through nine. Assiah, associated with Earth, is attributed to Malkuth as the final sphere of material manifestation.
This reconfiguration presents the Tree of Life not as a ladder to be climbed, but as a living cosmogram, capable of being entered from any point and engaged as a complete symbolic field. Explore each Sephirah below.
